Ed Sheeran Tickets

Ed Sheeran Tickets

Ed Sheeran Tickets

Ed Sheeran already has become a critically and commercially-acclaimed singer-songwriter in his native UK and now he is working on establishing himself in the American market. He is doing this by turning a duet with Taylor Swift into an invitation to perform as a supporting act during her Red Tour. Thus Ed Sheeran tickets are Taylor Swift tickets and they are an opportunity to watch both singer-songwriters play nearly 60 concerts throughout North America.

This is all in support of the album +. The debut album has gone quadruple platinum in the United Kingdom, where Ed Sheeran released around a dozen EPs before finally releasing a major-label, full-length studio album. The album scored with four hit singles. “The A-Team” and “Lego House” are the two most likely to be remembered by American audiences, with “You Need Me, I Don’t Need You” and “Drunk” completely new material for the cousins across the Atlantic Ocean.

Yet, the song many on this tour will recognize is his duet with Taylor Swift, “Everything Has Changed”. The song, not meant to be released as a single, managed to find its way into the Top 100 on the Billboard charts. This is quite an accomplishment for a song, whether or not a superstar is attached. This only happens if the song is actually good. This is a true measure of respect for the song untainted by the support of the record label. So, it should come as no surprise that Taylor and Sheeran’s sound like vocal equals in this duet.

Sheeran is going to be breaking through in America soon. He will be able to add a few Grammy Awards to his British Breakthrough Act and British Solo Male Act BRIT Awards. He is going to releasing multi-platinum albums in the years to come and Ed Sheeran concert tickets are going to be those for a headlining act on an international scale.

Ed Sheeran History

Ed Sheeran was born on February 17, 1991 in Halifax, England. There he developed a connection with music and immediately learned to play guitar and compose a structurally sound song. Millions of people have such a connection with music and hundreds of thousands pursue it from an early age. Ultimately, it was Sheeran's incredible work ethic, his belief in himself, and luck that helped him breakthrough that glut of would-be stars.

His work ethic took across Europe as a guitar technician for Nizlopi in 2008. The connection and his devotion during the tour resulted in a chance to take the stage as a performer in Norway. The next year, Sheeran took the stage 312 times, being driven to beat the 200 times Van Morrison had tallied as a young man. As with the Beatles, the experience made him a dramatically better musician and soon he began releasing independent EPs. The Orange Room would prove the first of eight. He also began touring with groups like Just Jack and began collaborating with enough up-and-coming musicians to get his name out there to the public.

Ed finally broke through in 2010 with the critical acclaim following the release of his Loose Change EP. The EP gave him his first hit single, "A Team". Though he would always have a solid fan base in the UK, he decided to give the United States a try and moved to Los Angeles. There Jamie Foxx was impressed by his set at the Foxxhole and provided him with studio time. Celebrities like Rio Ferdinand and Elton John joined the chorus of names giving him praise. Sheeran continued to win over audiences, especially those in Europe, with songs like "Lego House" and "Drunk". Now he has a platinum album over in the UK and in Australia and he is making his way to the U.S. OnlineSeats will have the Ed Sheeran tickets to enjoy the performer as he continues his musical conquest of a new continent.
