Duquesne Dukes Tickets for Sale

Duquesne's frontcourt is a work in progress -- 6-9 sophomore Kieron Achara (6.0 ppg) and 6-11 Sean McKeon, who redshirted last season -- and a slew of new recruits in the mid-size range (6-6 to 6-8). 6-7 JC transfer Keith Gayden from Kennedy-King College in Chicago needs to be immediate impact player. If that happens, the Dukes, a traditional A-10 West bottom-feeder, could jump up a couple spots in the A-10 West this year.

Last season, the Dukes improved from a nine-win team to a 12-win squad. To take the next step, Duquesne must learn to win the close games and the run can continue.

Danny Nee's squad has a strong perimeter, and teams with strong guards have done quite well recently in the A-10. Nee believes that he has one of the best backcourts in the East with steady senior Martin Osimani (4.6 ppg, 172 assists) running the show and dishing the ball to wings Bryant McAllister (11.1 ppg) and Jack Higgins (9.7 ppg).
