Background- Drew Allison Carey was interested in comedy. To further improve his antics, on the suggestion of a friend he borrowed some books from the library on how to write jokes. In the year 1986, he took part in an open-mic contest and won the competition. He, then became the master of the ceremonies at the Cleveland Comedy Club. In the year 1997, Carey published his autobiography, "Dirty Jokes and Beer: Stories of the Unrefined" The book became one of the bestseller.
