Dr. Dog Tickets for Sale
Dr. Dog is not a band. It is whole world onto itself for fans willing to spend the money on Dr. Dog tickets. The group is a fresh of breath air, offering a new spirit to the psychedelic rock scene that has been ailing since the Grateful Dead and Phish's star began to fade. The group seems to have a revolving door for band members, but Toby Leaman and Scott McMicken have remained the anchors for this group who calls Philadelphia home.
Leaman and McMicken began the group in 1999, picking up from a failed music project as the Raccoon. Leaman, the bassist, and McMicken, the lead guitarist, added drummer Ted Mark, keyboardist Zach Miller, and guitarist Doug O'Donnell. From the beginning this group was a little different. Each member adopted a nickname, as their band persona was truly a second identity after their day-to-day jobs in the real office world.
Currently, Dr. Dog is comprised of McMicken, a.k.a. Taxi; Leahman, a.k.a. Tables; Miller, a.k.a. Text; Eric Slick, a.k.a. Teach; and Frank McElroy, a.k.a. Thanks. The group has released Shame, Shame - the first album in two years.

Being a psychedelic rock group, Dr. Dog does not get much love from the radio, but they are a mainstay on the concert and festival scene. They have toured with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Black Keys, The Strokes, and The Ranconteurs. They have been favorites of celebs and the youth culture, appearing on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Late Show with David Letterman, and the Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
