David Nail came to Nashville via a small southeastern Missouri river town. He is a country music sensation who is making a name for himself throughout the country music community. His brand of rock country has been contagious and he's gaining press and acclaim seemingly wherever he goes.
His first single "Memphis" was released in 2002 and reached #52 on the Billboard country music charts. After going at in independently for time he finally singed with MCA Nashville and released a cover of Train's "I'm About to Come Alive" which also had a respectable chart life. In 2009 David Nail released "Red Light" which was his first top 40 country hit. Both of these singles are on his new album I'm About to Come Alive which was released in August, 2009. His live shows are not to be missed and he is currently on tour.
David Nail was born in Kennett, Missouri, a small river town along the mighty Mississippi. After flirting with the idea of going to college to play baseball he decided to move to Nashville to pursue music. David Nail grew up under the roof of a father who was high school music teacher and was influenced by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Elton John and the Beatles.
But country music was in his blood and he took these influences to heart and crafted his own brand of music that is both rock and country, truly both rhythm and blues. David Nail will be a name to remember in the future as he is sure to stamp his contagious brand of music on the country music scene and the larger industry in general.
