Born in the year 1969 in picturesque Corona, California, Crystal Lewis is an extremely gifted musician who began her association with music at a very young age. At around the age of 15 she was part of the band named "The Lifters" which later changed its name to "Wild Blue Yonder". She did a short stint with the band where she gained a lot with the other musicians who were equally talented and also met her husband Brian Ray. She was with the band till they split and she was offered a solo contract with Frontline.
She released her first solo album with Frontline in the year 1987 titled "Beyond the Charade" followed by her second album "Joy" in 1988.Her third album was released in 1990 titled "Let Love In".She started her own label in 1992 named "Metro One". She released her fourth album titled "Remember" on Metro One in the year 1992. "The Bride" followed in 1993 and "Hymns: My Life" in the year 1995.
