Craig David
Craig David is considered as one of the most influential artist who emerged in the UK pop scene when he was not even in his twenties. By the fall of 2000 he became a sensation all around the country. With an increasing fan base, the artist was recognized by the country's top shots. Born as the citizen of Southampton, England, the artist was fascinated by the music right from the days of his childhood. He used to perform on the funkadelic hip-hop songs and this was the time when he also began writing songs as a teenager. The artist was a great lover of Terence Trent D'Arby, Sisquo, and Donnell Jones and because of this very reason he started developing admiration for art, culture, and history. The combination of all these came out with magnificent musical beats which were created by the talented artist.
Initially he performed the ragga and R&B styles of music on the local station PCRS 106.5 FM. Not only this, the young artist also played at the small club gigs which made him favorite of all. His popularity grew day by day. Craig even won a national writing competition which aroused his interest to start a joint production project with Hill. With the release of Damage's "I'm Ready," and a B-side to "Wonderful Tonight" he was named as the super star of that era. "Fill Me In" was yet another album released by him which was proved to be a huge hit. This particular album was released in the summer of 2001.
