Counting Crows Tickets for Sale
Counting Crows are an alternative rock band that began back in the 1990s and has remained one of the most popular touring groups from the era in the 21st century. Adam Duritz and company have released six studio albums, two of which have gone multi-platinum and now have five huge hit singles. Counting Crows tickets will feature these songs permanently, even in the second decade of the 21st century when the group is beginning to work on recording cover songs.
August and Everything After, the debut album, is responsible for most of these hits. “Mr. Jones” began as a little more than a lark, a serious song sung in a happy tone and introducing MTV audiences to the Counting Crows. In addition, the first studio album features “Round Here”, “Einstein on the Beach”, and “Rain King”. Recovering the Satellites, an album written to comment on the surprise success of the first album, went double platinum. More important to fans of the group, it gave them “A Long December”.
At first, each album since these two has taken a plunge to a heavier sound. Counting Crows has always been a strong live band though, and they have been able to rekindle the kind of sound that first made those introspective singles chart hits. Now, after leaving Geffen Records and moving over to Eagle Rock Records, the Crows are content to release albums based on the songs of others. Adam Duritz is not done writing new material but the group has become so good they can make any recorded song their own, as the group did on Underwater Sunshine. Counting Crows tickets for this latest shows through the end of the year will be an excellent opportunity to enjoy covers of artists like Gram Parsons, Teenage Fanclub, and Kasey Anderson.
