For over ten years, Corey Crowder has been amusing the music industry and its fan following with his wonderful guitar and singing. He released a serious music project in the late 2001 which was called "A Farewell to Arms" which was critically acclaimed with tracks including "A night on the town", "Can I sing you to sleep?", "Questions with no answers", "The road less traveled", "Lullaby", "No more handouts", "Never know who your friends are", "Shadows trapped in tears" and "Here's looking at you kid". Corey is credited for writing and recording several original tracks for a demo which was launched in the spring of 2002. After the release, Corey started performing musical shows in the Southeast trying to make a name for himself.
In the winter of 2003, he wrote and recorded new material for the full-length "Certain Starlights and Fleeting Daybreaks". This compilation came out January of 2004. following this release, Corey started traveling out beyond just the southeast. He seriously started playing as many shows as possible with as many famous bands as possible.

In the Spring of 2005, Corey started recording a full-band 3 song EP with Eric Chapman in Birmingham, AL. The release of this EP generated a huge fan base of Corey Crowder who was at that time still known as "A Farewell to Arms". Later that year, it was decided by Corey and his management team that it was time to go for significant change and begin being known only as Corey Crowder instead of "A Farewell to Arms". This decision resulted from the confusing name "A Farewell to Arms" which didn't quite fit the sound of the project.
In August 2005, an 11-track acoustic only full-length album titled "Learning to Let Go" was released. This album is considered as the most successful release to date in part thanks to MTV for airing various songs from the album on their reality show "The Real World". The album had amazing tracks including "Open Doors, Open Eyes", "The Last One Standing", "When Im With You", "Starting All Over", "Taking Back Roads" and "April 25th".
The project has now grown to more extent and evolved into a full-band setting with the addition of John Taylor on drums, Stephen Hammond on keyboard and Logan Belcher on bass. Corey still perform some solo shows but both the new song writing and the live show are intermeshed towards the new full-band sound. Another plans are also on the way to record another full-length album in near future. This will be Corey's 5th album release, backed by the biggest promotional push yet.
