 Conan O'Brien has taken to the road before. He not only performed as a member of an improv group, but put on a comedy show on the Chicago stage with Bob Odenkirk and Robert Smigel during the writer's strike in 1988. He notably lived with comedian Jeff Garlin while living in Chicago. Conan is known as a late night host and as a comedy writer. He has written for the Simpsons, Saturday Night Live, and a number of critically acclaimed series that did not have nearly the commercial success of those first two.
