 The Oklahoma State Cowboys finished the 2008 college football season with a 9-3 record. If the team played in the North Division in the Big 12 they would have at the top of the standings, but playing in the South Division they ended up in fourth place. The Cowboys ended up in the Holiday Bowl, but lost 42-31 to the Oregon Ducks.
Oklahoma State comes into the 2009 college football season with a very good running back in Kendrick Hunter, a talented receiver/punt returner Dez Bryant, and offensive lineman Russell Okung. The Cowboys have a balanced offensive attack with three potential Heisman candidates.
The defensive side of the ball could cause the team trouble. The defensive line does not produce much pressure on the quarterback and a secondary that is like Swiss cheese. This could be a painful season as fans might be watching huge leads slipping away because of the team's inability to stop the ball.
