 This year's team is a bit smaller led by 6'-4' junior point guard Jeff Gloger (9 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 4.3 apg). Gloger led the team in assists and is a hard worker on the boards, finishing second in rebounding. They will likely be a more finesse, run-and-gun team than one that pounds the ball inside. They also will rely on 6'-5' junior shooting guard Ross Schraeder, who is a three-point threat.
The only returning big man is 6'-8' 250-lb senior Greg Ethington, although as a sophomore he had 3.6 ppg, 3.2 rpg and last year he upped that to just 6.5 ppg, 3.2 rpg. The Anteaters were 8-5 SU at home last season (3-7 ATS) and 3-12 SU in away games (5-9 ATS). The last two seasons this team is 8-14 ATS at home. The offense mustered just 63 ppg last season, contributing to the 8-5 under the total mark. They have a very different look this season, with fewer big men in the low post.
