Background - San Diego Toreros
The Toreros have a very good frontcourt of 6'-10' junior Nick Lewis (11 ppg, 6 rpg), 6'-8', 240-lb senior Bryce Vounang (16.9 ppg, 55% shooting, 6.8 rpg) and 6'-8' senior Brandon Gay (14 ppg, 7 rpg). With a frontcourt like that, coach Brad Holland needs only to get them to focus more on defense.

 They also have 6'-5' senior Brett Melton and 6'-6' junior Corey Belser. Belser sat out last season with a knee injury and is a strong defensive player, so his return is a big plus. 6'-4' junior Floyd North transferred from Oregon State and joins the team after sitting out last season.
The frontcourt adds another big newcomer in 6'-10' sophomore Abdoulaye N'Diaye. San Diego went 4-10 SU/5-5 ATS at home, but 0-16 SU/7-6 ATS on the road. They should be much better if they can stay healthy.
