 On the court, the Louisiana-Lafayette Rajin' Cajuns do have plenty of talent, especially up front. The frontcourt is big and strong again, behind 6'-11', 250-lb junior Chris Cameron (3.3 rebounds per game) and 6'-6' senior Brian Hamilton (7 rpg), who led the team in rebounds. 6'-7' Spencer Ford and 6'-8' Berry Jordan are freshmen who can provide depth.
The backcourt has a new look. 6'-5' Orien Greene steps into a starting role, along with G 6'-4' Dwayne Mitcell. Freshman Tiras Wade is 6'-6', so this team is tall in both the frontcourt and back, a big edge for Lafayette in the Sun Belt in recent years. L-Lafayette was 13-1 SU/6-4 ATS at home, 7-7 SU/9-4 ATS on the road. Notice they shot 47% from the field, using their tall frontcourt to their advantage. This team will win more than it loses, but they are a vulnerable defending champ.
