Background - Indiana Hoosiers
Starting with 6'-3' G Bracey Wright (16.2 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 2.1 apg), a good-looking athlete who has excellent range and can shoot from long distance without hesitation is the undisputed team leader. He can also use his perimeter game to set up his drives to the basket quite effectively. 6'-2' point guard Marshall Strickland (6.1 ppg, 2.0 apg) struggled at times last season, but he will be more of a factor as a scorer and passer now that he is the top point guard in the program.

 Three freshmen -- A.J. Ratliff, Robert Vaden and D.J. White -- are expected to play key roles, and the Hoosiers could get off to a slow start. White may be the most important when it comes to this year's team. At 6-9 and 230 pounds, he has excellent low-post skills and Davis needs him to provide consistent production in the paint.
6'-8' Patrick Ewing, Jr will provide some depth and rebounding. Forward Sean Kline should be a key player for this team after averaging 7.1 points and 4.4 rebounds per game a year ago. He missed the last month of the season with a knee injury, but the Hoosiers are counting on him to be prepared this season.
The Hoosiers were just 8-8 SU, ATS at home last season and 6-7 SU, ATS in away games. The youngsters will have to perform or Mike Davis could be facing intense pressure, and he could have a hard time producing early wins.
