Christina Aguilera is back after a four year absence. She comes back strong with Bionic, her fourth studio album and plans to sell Christina Aguilera tickets for a promotional tour featuring Leona Lewis as her supporting act.
The 2010 tour will begin with Christina Aguilera playing close to her New York roots. The concert schedule starts at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on July 15 and will run until August 19, 2010 with a final summer concert at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, CA. Christina is playing exclusively in the United States in her first tour since the 1006-2007 Back to Basics tour. There is always potential for more dates to be added to the 20-show schedule.
Having co-starred on The New Mickey Mouse Club with Britney Spears, 'N Sync's JC Chasez and Justin Timberlake, and Felicity's Keri Russell, it was just a matter of time before the record companies descended upon Christina Aguilera. When she was 10 she sang the national anthem for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. She joined [Walt] Disney's Mickey Mouse Club at the age of 12, appearing alongside future pop stars JC Chasez and Justin Timberlake of 'N Sync, and Britney Spears. Aguilera spent two years with the Mickey Mouse Club before moving to Japan to record 'All I Wanna Do', a hit duet with local pop star Keizo Nakanishi.
