Not many people remember, but Chris Tucker began his career as a comedian. After graduating from Columbia High School in Decatur, Georgia, Tucker moved to Los Angeles and took to the comedy circuit. He became a favorite and eventually earned a place on Def Comedy Jam, the famed HBO television series produced by Russell Simmons.
