Chris Trapper started his career as the front man of the Boston based pop group The Push Stars. From early on Chris Trapper displayed his talent for making some great music. But he revealed a more darker side when he left the group and switched to being a solo artist. His first solo effort was, "Songs from the Drive-In," and displayed a more deeper and indulgent side of Trapper. The result was a compilation that was more personal than any of his previous projects.

From being an award-winning songwriter to singer and soundtrack star, Chris Trapper worn many hats in the music industry. But despite his success and the heights that the has reached his Buffalo-born Boston boy is still as down to earth as can be. Chris Trapper's songs have won numerous awards, but most importantly he has won the hearts of his devoted listeners ever since his first song in 1991. He is most recognized as the front man for the nationally acclaimed pop/rock band The Push Stars. The songs were described by Rob Thomas of Match Box 20 as "honest, heartfelt songs with timeless melodies" and "the kind of music that songwriters love."

With The Push Stars, Chris wrote material for four studio albums, he also has to his credit three self-produced discs. Many of his numbers have been included in major motion picture soundtracks like There's Something About Mary and Say it isn't So and for television shows such as ER and Malcolm in the Middle. His 2002 solo project was very well received and according to the Boston Phoenix, "Songs from the Drive-In" showcased "his formidable storytelling talents."

Apart for many Boston Music Awards, Chris Trapper has won two Gold Records, a Platimun record, and the prestigious SOCAN Award twice for his songwriting work. Antigone Rising covered his song "Waiting, Watching, Wishing" on their latest album release. On his second solo album, "Gone Again," he has collaborated with the renowned Wolverine Jazz Band.
