Since their inception, the Chicago Rush has shown tremendous potentiality as well as strong will power. From the very match that they participated, they have given us a hint that they can never be underestimated. The Chicago Rush won their first playoff game against the mighty Orlando Predators 41-26 in 2001, their debut year. However, they could not keep the momentum going and lost to the the Grand Rapids Rampage, the then ArenaBowl XV champion. The Grand Rapids Rampage thrashed the Chicago Rush very badly with the score 53-21. But that was not the time for the Rush to think and brood over. The Rush members concentrated more on their practice sessions and were ready to take the coming season by storm.
