Cave In is a band based in Massachusetts which have emerged as an alternative metal band. The kind of music which they produced was enigmatic as it thrilled the audience from around the world. Cave In is better known for their alternative rock selections, or simply with one of the strong kind of rock and roll.
The band was formed in the year of 1995, in Mathuen, MA. It consisted of members with guitarist Stephen Brodsky and Jay Frechette, who was band's former vocalist. The duo rehearsed with a series of various bands but finally decided to form their independent band. It was only later on that they introduced several others as the band's line-up. Other members included Justin Matthes as bassist , Adam McGrath as guitarist, and drummer John-Robert. In the year of 1995, the band recorded their initial numbers under the guidance of the famous production expert Brian Mc Ternan. But their major break came when they met with Aaron Turner from @Hydra Records who decided to have Cave In on his catalog.
But soon after the release of their single at Hydra Records, Matthes left the band and was replaced by Andy Kyte. They have performed several tours across the world and thus have increased their fan base all over the world. However, the group's very first tour happened to be in Florida. By now the band's line up had become very inconsistent as Frechette departed from the band but was eventually replaced by Dave Scrod who joined the band as the lead vocalist.

"Beyond Hypotermia" was released as their debut album by the fall of the year 1998. It was a sensational hit and grabbed a lot of attention of the audience in country as well as abroad. The group came up with their second album titled "Until Your Heart Stops." After the release of these albums the band went on touring the whole of United States and Canada. A year later however, they were totally inclined towards song writing and compiled albums for Cure and Bad Brains. "Tides Of Tomorrow" which was an EP was released in the year of 2002, followed by a full-length album "Antenna" which rocked the crowd throughout the world.
