Artist Biography - Caroline Rhea

Caroline Gilchrist Rhea was born on April 13, 1964 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Rhea is the youngest of three sisters, Celia and Cynthia. Rhea worked for a catering company for seven long years before getting her first screen appearance which was in a low budget, unaccredited movie known as Meatballs III. She became engaged to Bob Kelty, a special-projects director for nonprofit organizations when they met at a Comic Relief fundraiser in April of 1999. She then split up with Bob Kelty in April of 2003. The two were planning a wedding for that year. Publicity included interviews in the "TV Guide" (Canada) on November 16, 2002, on pages 18 and 19, by: Greg David. There was also an interview called "Rhea of Light" in "Good Housekeeping" (USA) in October of 2002, Volume 235, Issue 4, pages 115 and 116, by: Celeste Fremon, and then there was the interview called "Heeere's Caroline" in "Out" (USA) in August of 2002 on page 38, by: Michael Musto. There were also articles in Self Magazine in the U.S. in December of 2000 entitled "30-Day Self Challenge" by Caroline herself. The other article was in the "TV Guide" here in the U.S. on May 27, 2000 in Volume 48, Issue 22, on pages 34 to 36. This was entitled "Rhea of Light" by Frank DeCaro.
