Butch Walker
The lead singer of his former band Marvelous 3 during the late 90's. That was when he tasted major success. Then he walked over to start a solo career in the 2000s. He is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer. His three album stint with the band was at its peak in 1998. His hit single ''Freak of the Week" was a major succcess on the charts. Bit the band lasted as long as they released two albums. He went on to produce albums for such bands as Injected and SR-71. His reputation grew and he eventually signed a solo contract with Arista.
His solo debut album followed shortly titled ''Left of Self Centered'' in 2002. It had the hot single, "My Way." His anti-comnformism shows in his music and is appreciated by the fans and followers. He was born on November 14, 1969. His growing years were spent in Cartersville, Georgia. He started to perform with several rock bands early on.

Artist Biography - Butch Walker

Bad Boyz and Byte the Bullet were the more known of among them. The latter changed its name to become SouthGang and consequently released two albums. In the early 90's they were one of the first bands to tour China. However, Butch continued the march with changing bands.
He alongwith Jayce Fincher and Mitch McLee of SouthGang formed several bands including Floyds Funk Revival, The Floyds and lastly Marvelous 3. He released ''Letters'' in 2004. The next year was spent performing at over 200 live shows in US and Japan. He also featured as a headlining artist for the Inaugural Hotel Cafe tour which supports independent artists.
His written songs have been reasons of success for other artist. Bowling for Soup's hit "Girl All the Bad Guys Want" as well as Avril Lavigne's "My Happy Ending" were his creations only. Other artists for whom he has written songs are The Donnas, Pink, Lindsay Lohan, Lit, Sevendust, SR-71 and American Hi-Fi. Tommy Lee's new album titled Tommyland: The Ride in the song "Good Times" featured him too. His first DVD "Live At Budokan" was released in late 2005.
