Background - Kelly Pavlik
He began learning the sport in Youngstown, Ohio on the south side of the city. Pavlik rose through the ranks and eventually beat Fulgencio Zuniga on October 7, 2005 for his 27th victory and the NABF middleweight title. Kelly Pavlik won with a left hook in the first round that knocked Zuniga out.
