The Bob & Tom Band is a collaboration of over 20 talented musicians and singers led by virtuoso pianist, composer, and arranger Steve Allee. "The Bob & Tom Show" was established in early 1983 when Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold came to WFBQ radio in Indianapolis. Their comedy-based early morning program is among the highest rated in American radio. The show has been syndicated nationally since January of 1995. In 1993, 1995, 1997, and 1999 Bob & Tom were awarded the Marconi Award from the National Association of Broadcasters, making "The Bob & Tom Show the only radio program to have been awarded the Marconi four times". From 1991 to 1998 Bob & Tom received "The Billboard Magazine Radio Personality of the Year" award. In 1994 Bob & Tom were awarded the state of Indiana's highest honor, "The Sagamore of the Wabash." In 1996 Bob & Tom were awarded the National Chairman's Citation Award from the Leukemia Society of America for their fund/awareness raising efforts for the Leukemia Society. Bob & Tom are well known for their charitable work. The 25 comedy albums they've produced since 1986 have generated over 4.5 million dollars which they have donated to various local charities.

Bob Kevoian, was born in Los Angeles, California in 1950. He graduated in 1973 from Long Beach State University. He traveled extensively with "The Young Americans" theater group before he started his radio career in 1979 in Michigan. He came to WFBQ Radio, Indianapolis, in early 1983. Bob recently released his first solo CD titled, "Take Off Your Clothes". In 1953, Tom Griswold was born in Cleveland, OH. He graduated in 1971 from the University School in Chagrin Fall, OH and is also a graduate of Columbia University. Before he came to WFBQ Radio, Indianapolis in early 1983, Tom Griswold worked in the radio career in both Florida and Michigan. Tom also has produced recordings for comedians Heywood Banks, Rodney Carrington, Paul Gilmartin, Sean Morey, Tim Wilson as well as Bob & Tom Band musical director, Steve Allee.
