Blues At The Lake
Rock 'n Blues by the Lake, held on October 4th at Stafford Lake, generated sufficient revenues to distribute $50,000 last week. They planned to use this revenue to benefit Novato Public Schools. The North Marin Council PTA was to distribute funds directly to schools based on their enrollment. The site leadership teams, in conjunction with PTA board members, decided the best and most effective use of these funds for each of their schools. They used these funds for supplies or for school projects. The 2004 bands included the Unauthorized Rolling stones. This was the greatest tribute band to the greatest rock and roll band. The Rolling Stones were a huge piece of American history. This tribute band had a dead on reproduction of the original hits and even included a Tina Turner sound-a-like.
