After 11 weeks of the NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys are atop the competitive NFC East with an incredible 9-1 record. That is quite the jump from their disastrous 4-12 effort from the 2015 season.
Two rookies in key offensive positions that have changed the look and feel of this Cowboys team. It is no surprise that first-year running back Ezekiel Elliott is having success behind Dallas’ stellar offensive line, but few predicted he would lead the league in rushing in Week 12 with 1102 yards. It’s the guy under center who has sent the most shockwaves through the NFL. Dak Prescott, the Cowboys’ fourth-round pick in the 2016 draft, was meant to be a plan for the future, to learn under their star signal caller, Tony Romo. Plans quickly changed when Romo injured his back in the preseason and Prescott’s number was called prematurely.
No one anticipated the success the young QB would have in uniting this team and making plays with both his arm and legs. He has shown poise, quickness and an innate ability to make good decisions when throwing the football this season.
Dallas is currently two games ahead of the New York Giants in their division and the top seed in the NFC heading into the playoffs. They do have a tough remaining schedule though as they face Washington on Thanksgiving, then get the Vikings, Giants, Buccaneers, Lions and finally the Eagles. This Dallas team has been exciting to watch so far and should be equally as thrilling moving forward. Be sure to secure your Dallas Cowboys tickets early so that you don’t miss out on all the incredible on-field action down the stretch!
With seven weeks remaining in the 2016-2017 season, the NFL landscape appears somewhat different than most of us expected. It seems that this year there are a few teams ahead of the league in talent and then a stiff drop off with the remainder of the NFL. In the AFC, the West division is the only one with a tight race, as three out of the four teams currently have seven wins. If the playoffs began today, the Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos would all be granted a playoff berth coming out of the West. New England at 7-2, currently has the first seed in the AFC and have certainly been playing well enough to sustain that spot. At 6-3, the Houston Texans sit atop the AFC South, with the 5-4 Baltimore Ravens rounding out the AFC playoffs, for now of course. Other teams with a shot at post season glory depending on how these next seven weeks shakeout are; the Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, Pittsburgh Steelers and Indianapolis Colts.
As far as the NFC goes, the Dallas Cowboys currently own the top seed coming out of the East, which seems to be the only division with a tight race. If we were to enter the post season today, both the Washington Redskins and New York Giants would also be in the mix from that same division. In the North, the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings are both tied at 5-4, with the South leader, Atlanta sitting at 6-4. Seattle leads in the West with a 6-2-1 record and owns the second seed in the NFC as of Week 10. The remaining teams in the hunt for a playoff berth from the NFC are the Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints.
Of course seven weeks is still ample time for a team to make a big run, or perhaps an epic slide in today’s NFL. As the race gets tighter and closer, be sure to secure your NFL tickets and see how it all unfolds. You won’t want to miss one pass, run block or sack of exciting NFL action.
Born to Cuban immigrants in Miami, Florida Armando Christian Perez (known as Pitbull) has always been in touch with his roots. Although his parents divorced when he was very young, they insisted he learn the works of Jose Marti- a Cuban national hero and poet, which he could recite at the age of three. Other musical genre influences throughout his childhood include Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Hip-Hop, Techno, House and Rave, creating his eventual music acumen and wild popularity in the business. After high school, Pitbull set out to break into the music business and set his sights on the Miami Bass genre of pop music known as Crunk.
He was given his first break by Lil Jon who had him rap on the album Kings of Crunk in 2002. Pitbull’s first solo album, M.I.A.M.I (Money Is A Major Issue) was released in 2004 by TVT Records with Lil Jon and Jim Jonsin as producers. His next album was released on October 31, 2006 entitled El Mariel which was also the name of the boat in the movie Scarface. It featured the hit tracks “Bojangles”, “Ay Chico”, “Fuego” and “Dime” and was dedicated to his father who had passed away in May of that same year. After his label TVT Records went out of business, Pitbull teamed up with Ultra Records in 2009 for his fourth album Rebelution. Changing it up a bit, the singer released a Spanish-Language album in 2010 entitled Armando. He collaborated with T-Pain for the hit single “Hey Baby” in 2011 which was on his next album Planet Pit followed by the wildly popular 2012 release Global Warming, featuring tracks partnered with Shakira and Christina Aguilera. Pitbull’s eighth studio album Globalization dropped in November 2014 with tracks “Wild Wild Love”, “Fireball” and “Time Of Our Lives”.
Pitbull’s tours are always jam-packed with fans who adore his slick sound and pop, club and rap influences. Pitbull tickets are consistently in high demand so be sure to purchase yours early if he travels to your town, so you don’t miss this talented artist up close and in person.
New England clinched a playoff spot on Sunday night with a 27-6 rout over the Houston Texans, snapping a two-game skid for the now 11-2 team. Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady enjoyed the return of his tight end Rob Gronkowski by throwing for 226 yards and two touchdowns. Gronkowski was sidelined for just one game with a knee injury but returned earlier than expected racking up 87 receiving yards and a touchdown. The Patriots run game was accomplished by committee with LeGarrette Blount rushing for 53 yards before leaving with a hip injury, Brandon Bolden with 51 yards on the ground and James White with the sole rushing touchdown and just two total yards. New England’s other touchdown was to former Texan Keyshawn Martin in the first half to put the Patriots ahead 17-6. Houston quarterback Brian Hoyer was sacked five times and left the game to be evaluated for a concussion with around nine minutes remaining. On the day, Hoyer was 11 of 22 for 155 yards and no touchdowns while the Texans’ defense actually played rather well. The 6-7 Texans, recovered a fumble and forced two punts by New England in the third quarter but just weren’t able to take advantage and entered the fourth quarter trailing 20-6. In a weak AFC South division, they remain tied for first place with the Indianapolis Colts who they will face next week.
New England is currently sitting as the number one seed in the AFC and will host the flailing Tennessee Titans in Foxboro in Week 15. Fans should be sure to purchase New England Patriots tickets for this and the remaining matchups to see this exciting team in all the on-field action as they march towards the post season.
In an outcome that no one saw coming, the New England Patriots fell to the struggling Philadelphia Eagles 35-28 in Week 13 of the NFL season. Just over a week ago, the Patriots were thinking about an undefeated season and have now endured two straight losses to bring their record to 10-2. The Eagles snapped a three-game losing streak raising them to 5-7 and back in the NFC East playoff race. New England started the game 14-0 before the Eagles scored five straight touchdowns. Tom Brady did what he does and took advantage of an onside kick and a fumble to have a chance to tie the game in the final minute. Sadly, his wideouts dropped three passes in a row to turn the ball over on downs. In the loss, Brady threw for 312 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. With so many injuries plaguing their offense, the leading receiver for New England was James White with 115 yards and a score followed by Danny Amendola who had 62 yards and a touchdown. Eagles’ signal caller Sam Bradford threw for 120 yards and two touchdowns-one to Jordan Matthews and one to Zach Ertz- while the remaining scores were amassed by Philadelphia’s defense and special teams.
In Week 14, the Eagles will stay in Philadelphia to host the 6-6 Buffalo Bills who are coming off a big win against a surging Houston Texan team. New England will attempt to get back on track and stay atop the AFC for a playoff bye with a home game against the up and down Houston Texans on Sunday night. Be sure to purchase your New England Patriots tickets in advance to see them fight down the stretch and head towards the inevitable post season.
Thanks to a 34-27 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night, the New England Patriots are off to their first 5-0 start since the 2007 season while Indianapolis fell to 3-3. In what ended up being a wacky game with arguably one of the worst play calls perhaps ever, (a fake punt by the Colts), Tom Brady threw for 312 yards and three touchdowns in the highly anticipated “deflategate” rematch. Wideout Danny Amendola had his best game of the season with 105 receiving yards while tight end Rob Gronkowski was somewhat quiet with just 50 yards and a touchdown. As usual, the Patriots run game was via committee with LeGarrette Blount rushing for most of the carries for 93 yards and a touchdown, while Dion Lewis accounted for four carries for 21 yards. Colts’ quarterback Andrew Luck was back on the field after missing play time due to injury and racked up 312 yards with three touchdowns. Indianapolis was very much in this game until the horrific fake punt in the beginning of the fourth quarter rattled them and the team just couldn’t recover.
New England has now won seven straight over the Colts and these rivals could potentially meet again in the playoffs depending on how the rest of the season shakes out for both of these AFC squads. Indianapolis will get to stay home in Week 7 and face the 2-4 New Orleans Saints who are coming off an exciting victory over the Atlanta Falcons. The Patriots will clash with their AFC East rival New York Jets at home who are 4-1 and playing very good football thus far in 2015. Fans should be sure to secure your New England Patriots tickets as this team is playing hungry and well, and should continue to do so.
Disturbed Touring in 2016
2016 may seem like a forever-away thought but not for the business minded and have we got an outstanding front-runner for the first major tour of 2016! Heavy Metal/Hard Rock band, Disturbed are letting fans know they will be back on the road next year in support of their sixth studio album, Immortalized. With the tour getting under way March 11 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and continuing through an April 10 finale in Memphis. Vocalist David Draiman says that the bands return from short hiatus was for one reason only “we are dying for our fix of the live experience”. The bands need to satisfy their own addiction “to the feeling you get when you play to the most dedicated and vibrant fan base in existence, the Disturbed ones.” Draiman is also confident the Arena shows will be coming in the future, but maintains that the consensus of the group remains they wanted to start out the tour with the feelings from the old days of an “intimate, hot, and intense” connection. “We can’t wait. Prepare yourselves. The Leviathan has risen.” The lead single “The Vengeful One” skyrocketed up the charts and now they’ve also released the songs “What Are You Waiting For”, “Fire It Up” ahead of the album’s release. The American heavy metal band from Chicago are making quite the name for themselves. Five of their six released albums have debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Draiman remains true to his writing, the lyrics from this new album are full of anguish, irony and political destruction of humanity through the use of pseudo-religion. Excellent “The Vengeful One” is sensational, dark and on point. A great evening for any heavy metal/hard rock music lover, get your Disturbed tickets here for any of their upcoming 2016 shows!

As we head into the final week of spring training, the San Francisco Giants are tweaking their 25-man roster in preparation for the season ahead.
Three members of the Giants 2014 World Series team were already optioned to Triple-A Sacramento: Andrew Susac, Hunter Strickland and Juan Perez. Susac is the most surprising of the three to not make the squad after being an integral part of the championship team, but he fell behind this spring due to a tooth infection and wrist injury.
There are some guys on the bubble after impressing the Giants coaching staff thus far and potentially have earned themselves a spot on the 2015 team. Short stop Matt Duffy had some solid moments last season but was not guaranteed to make this year’s version of the squad. He did however, have an impressive spring and could provide bench depth with his speed and good on-base percentage.
Outfielder Daniel Carbonell is someone who could make an impact later in the season if he ends up part of the 25-man roster. With San Francisco’s outfield depth taking a hit due to injuries to Hunter Pence and Angel Pagan, Carbonell has shown that he could fill in nicely, hitting .333 with a .421 on-base percentage, two home runs and five RBI’s in 15 at bats.
The 2015 San Francisco Giants are coming off a World Series Championship and will be looking to defend their title and keep that momentum going. As long as they have Madison Bumgarner at the top of the rotation and guys like Brandon Belt and Joe Panik support with solid offense, they could find themselves back in the hunt again.
The regular season is almost here and Giants ticket holders are anxious to get to AT&T Park and get the 2015 season underway as are the rest of MLB fans. San Francisco will start 2015 in Arizona as they face the Diamondbacks on Monday, April 6th.
