Country singer Luke Bryan recently announced on his website that he will be going on tour in 2014. The name of the tour is “That’s My Kind of Party,” and it will feature supporting acts Lee Brice, and Cole Swindell.
Bryan, who started out as a song writer for other country artists like Billy Currington and Bob Hey, has established himself as one of the top artists of his genre. He will be teaming up with Lee Brice, another artist who began his career writing songs for other artists like Jason Aldean, and Garth Brooks. Cole Swindell, who is also performing on the tour, is a songwriter that has collaborated with Luke Bryan in the past, and will release his first studio album in 2013. He currently has a hit song titled “Chillin it” making its rounds on the country music airwaves.
Luke Bryan’s latest album “Crash my party” is his fourth studio album, and also his most successful album. It was number 1 on the Billboard 200, and has sold over 1 million copies so far. Bryan also released a compilation album titled “Spring Break… Here to Party,” which also reached number 1 on the Billboard 200, giving him two number 1 albums in 2013.
Luke Bryan already has two singles off his new album that have made it to number 1 on the country airplay chart, Lee Brice has a few singles from his 2012 album “Hard 2 Love,” including “I Drive Your Truck,” and “Hard to Love,” which also reached the number 1 spot on the country radio charts, and Cole Swindell has his hit “Chillin it” which was critically acclaimed, and made it to number 29 on the country charts.
The “That’s My Kind of Party Tour” will be one of the most exciting tours in 2014 because it features two rising stars in the country music world, and an up and coming artist who will be headlining his own shows in the near future.
