Stuart Little was first published in 1945 and was E.B. White's firs children's story. This tale is about Stuart Little, a young New Yorker who has the "shy, pleasant manner of a mouse". The illustrations were done by Garth Williams and the lead character did look like a mouse in them. So what set him apart from his brethren in the world of mice, well for starters he is thoughtful, good natured, practical, modest, and courageous. Well, I guess that does set him apart from the likes of Jerry, and Speedy Gonzalez. Moreover, he lives with his family in New York City. The original story saw him journeying to find his friend Margalo, a bird saved by his family. The Stuart Little franchise has spawned three hit movies as well as a cartoon TV series. And now, the long awaited live production is here, which remains true to the spirit of Stuart Little.
