Strike Anywhere is a melodic hardcore and punk rock band. Band formed in 1999 in Virginia comprises of five members. Vocals are by Thomas Barnett, guitar by Matt Smith, on bass, drums by Eric Kane and Matt Sherwood on guitar. Band came into being after Inquisition band of Thomas Barnett disbanded. Strike Anywhere came into limelight after their two songs 'Refusal' and 'Question To Answer' featured in 2 Tony Hawk videos games. The music of Strike Anywhere constitutes of emotionally-charged vocals, fast tempos and attractive melodies.  Strike Anywhere since their formation have released number of EPs and studio albums. In 2000 they released an EP titled ' Bread or Revolution' on Fat Wreck Chords. In 2001 EP ' Underground Europe: The 1999 Demos' was released. In 2001 they released another EP entitled ' Chorus of One'. It was also released a CD on Red Leader Records and as LP on No Idea Records.
The studio albums of Strike Anywhere include ' Change is a Sound' in 2001 on Jade Tree. In 2003 came ' Exit English' again on Jade Tree. Their latest studio album is Dead FM released in 2006 on Fat Wreck Chords.
Bane is a hardcore punk band formed in Worcester, Massachusetts. There are currently five members in Bane who are Aaron Bedard on vocals, bass by Pete Chilton, guitar by Aaron Dalbec, drums by Bob Mahoney and
and Zach Jordan on guitar.
Bane was a side project between Damon Bellardo and Aaron Dalbec who was then member of Converge. In 1995, December duo along with some friends started recording in a studio resulting in the release of five song demo. In 1996 Bane released their debut EP. Simultaneously they had several shows in various parts of central Massachusetts.
In 1997 an EP ' Free To Think, Free To Be' was released. Following year they released another EP titled ' Holding This Moment' on Equal Vision Records. Same year they toured United States of America.
After the release of 'Holding This Moment' in 1998, 1999 saw the release of ' It All Comes Down to This' on Equal Vision Records. With Indecision Records, Bane in 2001 released 'Bane/Adamantium Split 7"' . their next album was on Equal Vision Records entitled ' Give Blood'. While 2005 was marked by release of 'The Note' again on Equal Vision Records.
Apart from releasing independent albums Bane have done number of covers with many other bands. With the band Chain Of Strength they did 'Just How Much'. With Sick Of It All they did '???'. ' The Truth About Liars ' was covered with Lifetime.
The combination of two deadly punk rock band will definitely result in some superb live performances. Bane and Strike Anywhere have toured with each other earlier also throughout the America.
