Anthony Hamilton Tickets for Sale

Anthony Hamilton is a R&B singer from North Carolina. He started singing in his church choir when he was 10 years old. As a teenager, her performed in nightclubs and talent shows in his native city, Charlotte. His voice has been compared to the vocals of classic R&B vocalists like Bill Withers and Bobby Womack.

He has had to face a lot of hard luck. He always wanted to hit it big, with this ambition he left for New York City in 1993. He signed up with Uptown Records. He was on the brink of releasing his album when the Record company went bust. His album remained unreleased. He then switched to MCA and recorded his critically acclaimed album, "XTC" in 1996. The album was also over looked. He then found himself on the Soulife Label. Here he recorded some new tracks and laid down the foundation for another solo album. In 2000, he went on tour with D'Angelo's "Voodoo Tour" as a back-up singer. When he returned, he found that Soulife has also sunk.
Disillusioned and disappointed, he spent the next few years selling songs and performing as a backup singer for artists like 2Pac and Eve. But destiny would finally smile at him. His vocals on the track, "Po Folks" with Nappy Roots got some attention and was nominated for the best Rap/Song Collaboration category at the 2003 Grammy Awards, where he also performed. This led to a meeting between him and producer Jermaine Dupri. The result was that he was signed up by the So So Def label. He released what is technically his fourth album, "Comin from Where I'm bowed" in 2003. Catch this great performer, contact your on line ticket vendor for his concert tickets.
