Anthony B is a Reggae singer from Jamaica. His original name is Keith Blair and he comes from Clarks Town in Jamaica. As a child he was a regular performer with the church and school choirs. His career in music began when he made his debut as a deejay with Shaggy Hi-Power, a local sound system.
He moved to Portmore in 1988 and made good friends with aspiring deejay's like Determine, Ricky General and Mega Banton. He released his debut album, "The Living is Hard" in 1993. He then teamed up with producer Richard "Bello" Bell and released a series of hit singles that included "Repentence Time," "Fire pon Rome," "Rumor" and "Raid di Barn."
He eventually released his first full length album, "Real Revolution" in 1996. This effort eas followed by "Universal Struggle" in 1997. His single, "Nah Vote Again" was acknowledged as a vital factor i maintaining the peace in the national election that took place during the year.
