Allister was formed in early 1995 when the talented vocalist/guitarist Tim Rogner along with guitarist Johnny who were longtime classmates teamed up for a cover band to perform for their school talent show. They later expanded their band by including other remarkable artists and have since come a long way. They are recognized for their exemplary varied pop punk music and their much fun-loving and pleasant melodramatic nature.

In the mid of 1999, the band released its first full-length CD quite imaginatively titled Dead Ends and Girlfriends which instantly made headlines. The inescapably catchy 32-minute album was instrumental in leading them to the doors of fame. This album was recorded with a very limited production budget of $700 and it featured some remarkably playful yet amazingly promising pop punk tunes. It also featured a cover version of Fraggle Rock theme song along with the Backstreet Boys famous number 'I Want It that Way'. The following years were eventful for the band as some members left it and some new members joined the band. With the able assistance of producer Chris Fudurich, the band was able to record their second full-length album aptly named Last Stop Suburbia in 2002. It showcased an arrival of a new musical style and a large degree of growth in the songwriting. The also album featured several of their favorites till date including such remarkably delightful number as the 'Radio Player', the pleasantly poppy 'Overrated' and the eclectic 'Somewhere on Fullerton'. This album was instrumental in bringing out various different shades of music experiments the band were exploring.

The band also is very good at live performances. The best part about them is that they still seem to carry with them that down to earth attitude that was instrumental in bringing them this far. Their harmonizing vocals are truly breathtaking and uncanny capability of striking a raw nerve with the audience. They are quite adept in crafting melodic pop-punk that's very much driven to the brinks of volume and brought back with some crafty usage of pop hooks and stupendous guitar performance which drives the audience crazy. So if you want to soak up the very best of pop punk music; get your tickets and be there with your friends and loved ones.
