 Separated by the Narrows section of New York Bay, the concerts will take place simultaneously each day at waterfront ballparks. In Coney Island, the shows will happen at Keyspan Park, home of the Brooklyn Cyclones, the New York Mets' minor league baseball team. In Staten Island, the concert will take place at Richmond County Bank Ballpark at St. George, home of the Staten Island Yankees, the New York Yankees' minor league baseball team.
The artists that performed at the concert included Oasis, Pixies, Beck, and The Killers. Other prominent acts were Jet, Gang Of Four, Belle & Sebastian, and the New York Dolls. The Killers started the party in Staten Island on October 1st, and Oasis began proceedings on October 2nd. In Brooklyn, the Pixies headlined on October 1st with Beck finishing off things on the second night. This year's show is going to be bigger and badder than in 2005.
