A Midsummer Night's Magic
Mid-Summer Night's Magic is an annual fund raiser held by Former LA Lakers Great and Hall of Famer, Ervin "Magic" Johnson. The event is held annually and all the proceeds are given to charity and also also towards Aids research projects.
The 19th Annual Mid-Summer's Night Magic featured performances by Roberta Flack, Cheryl Lynn, Musiq, Angela Winbush, Carl Thomas, Chaka, En Vogue and New Edition. There was a special tribute to John Mack for his his work as Los Angeles Urban League President. Several Scholars of the program were also honored. Ervin ensures that year in and year out, MSNM is a night to remember for all those participating and all those attending.

The 18th Annual "A Mid-Summer Night's Magic" was fabulous as well. It featured star performances from Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan and India Arie on Saturday during the Harlem Nights party; and the NBA rookies, led by LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony on Sunday at the Staples Center. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to see Chaka join Stevie on-stage at the Barker Hangar for the number, "Tell Me Something Good."
