360 Smile
Backed by an intensified and enhanced sound, the quarter dance on the lines of gritty thunder-some pop with astounding skill and precision. Making the music more soothing and refreshing is the melodic guitar riffs. The band is Josh Herr(vocals and guitar), Johnny Baynes (on backing vocals and guitar), Joey Natas on drums and Jeff Boyer on Bass. Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri the band was founded by ex members of Mindrive, jeff Boyer and Johnny Baynes. A favorite of local and college radio stations, it wasn't long before their name would spread outside of Missouri to neighboring states. Point 105.7 FM, The River 101.1 FM, KKID (92.9 FM â€â€Å" Rolla, MO), The Buzz (100.1 FM- Columbia, MO) and KHDX 88.1 FM gave the boys' music a lot of airplay. Internet radio stations like iChannel, The Lou, PLENTY and GarageBand featured them on regular rotations.
In 2005, Budweiser invited the band to be part of the True Music Live Program, and eventually become a fully sponsored true Music band. Since then, Budweiser and 360 Smile have seen their relationship grow. Thousands of local bands applied for the spot but 360 got it. In late 2005, Spector Basses also chose them to sponsor their guitars. The band has opened up kickass outfits like Cold, Static X, Buckcherry, Smile Empty Soul, Socialburn, Shortie, Flyleaf, Blood Simple, American Head Charge, Billy Talent, Adema, Kevin Martin, Blue October & Hi Watts to name a few. 360 won 2006 Battle for Pointfest in Summer giving them the chance to open 105.7 The point's festival along side notables like Shinedown, Coheed and Cambria, Avenged Sevenfold, Trapt, Hurt and many others at UMB Bank Pavilion, St. Charles Family arena, The Pageant, Pop's, The Hard Rock Cafe, The Grand Emporium, Mississippi Nights and The Blue Note and All Stars are just the few. Their relentless drive and powerful live show have pushed the band to gain an ever-growing fan list.
These Road warriors have been touring for more than the last 2 years spanning 1200+ miles in 12 states. The CS release of their 'Change Your world EP saw more than a 1000 people attend the shindig.
Over 7,000 copies of their independently released 'Sex is a Weapon' has been sold. Kevin Gerdes produced 'Sex is a Weaspon' and Allan Hessler (The Used,Unchained, Calico System) produced 'Mindriven'. 'Change Your World'(2006) was backed by In the Loop records and the sound was engineered by Paul Altnether and Jimmi Gunn. Jon Armstrong produced the album.

The band merges the grit of rock with thought-provoking. emotional lyricism. The band's sound is compared to Metallica, Cold, Socialburn, Crossfade, Seether, Blue October, etc. Not that their music is not original but the way i see it, its a compliment when newcomers are compared to legends.
