30 Odd Foot Of Grunt
Don joined in 1986 and at the end of the year Russell left New Zealand to return to Australia. Dean followed soon after. Dean met Garth in Sydney in 1987. Mark was in Spain working as a solo act, Don moved to Australia in 1990. While making their livings separately and together from music and other related entertainment industries four gathered regularly to play and write while continuing to tour with other bands. When the band met Charles Fisher in 1992, they started a whole new period of focus, particularly on the music. From that time on and even more so in 1994 and in 1995, plans and obligations were readjusted continuously to allow the band to perform and record in Sydney, Los Angeles and Whangaparoa New Zealand. New material just poured out of their souls and onto tape, mostly due to the fact that they all came from past experiences and lives. The band has been in existence well over a decade and previous releases include the albums Gaslight and Bastard Life or Clarity and the DVD Texas which is a documentary concert film.
