Crest also hosts comedians such as Bernie Mac, Carrot Top, Sam Kinison and The Mommies. Community events include the popular Sacramento Symphony 'Jeans and Beer' and 'Mocha and Mozart' series. Is there a better way to spend the holidays than listening to some great music with your love one? Buy tickets and Enjoy your holidays listening to some good music whether alone or with a group.
One cannot escape the radio stations who are marking the occasion with their annual holiday-themed concerts. Coast to coast, New York City to Los Angeles one cannot escape the grand festivities. Some stations in keeping with the theme of the holiday come up with names like The Jingle Ball, the Mistletoe Jam and How the Edge Stole Christmas and Night before Christmas. 'Silent Night' has spurred some hilarious event titles like the Not So Silent Night, the Almost Silent Night and the Unsilent Night. This year's concert will be performed by rising talents like Augustana, Sister Hazel, Landon Pigg and Mat Kearney. The show, will give fans an opportunity to get up close and personal with the band members, as it is a general admittance policy followed by fans able to be close to the stage.
Last year, excluding the hordes of local Sacramento fans, many local fans didn't hear about the show until the last week and tried to get tickets but unfortunately were too late. On e brighter note, some lucky winners got an opportunity to meet Lifehouse, through a contest held on The Zone. The winner got to share pizza with the band, and enjoy a closed sound check. Other listeners got an opportunity to watch Michelle Branch who performed an acoustic set on the radio earlier that day.
